David Beatty

David Nathaniel Beatty was born on November 2, 1958, in Flin Flon, MB, and passed away on March 12, 2026, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 67 years.

David was born in Flin Flon, MB, and raised in Deschambault Lake, and La Ronge, He attended school in La Ronge and the children’s Home in Timber Bay and Prince Albert. He earned a linguistics Degree at the U of R.

He worked at many different jobs. He trapped and commercial fished. He did sled dog racing. He worked as a guide at Deschambault Lake Resort. This is where he eventually met his wife, Myrna. His last job was at Petro PBCN at 2nd Ave and 6th Ave. East.

David and Myrna were blessed with a daughter, Robyn, who passed away on March 14, 2023.

David loved his family and worked hard to provide for them.

He will be greatly missed.

David is survived by his wife, Myrna Beatty; his siblings, Isaac Beatty, Walter Beatty, Peter (Beatrice) Beatty, Joyce (Bob) Boyer, Jean Sewap, Robert (Susan) Beatty, Rhoda Beatty; his uncle, Allan Ballantyne; his aunties, Caroline Beattie, Margaret Ballantyne, Joyce (Earl) Ballantyne; his friend and cousin, Naomie Seib; his sister-in-law, Angelique Beatty; his brothers-in-law, Les (Theresa) Thomas, Rick (Shannon) Thomas; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, Edward H. & Martha Beatty; his daughter, Robyn Beatty; his in-laws, James & Bernice Thomas; his brothers, Phillip Beatty, 2 infant brothers; his sisters, Thelma Kredatus, Nancy H. Ballantyne; his brother-in-law, Jan Kredatus; his sisters-in-law, Florence Beatty, Jeannie Beatty, Jeannette Thomas.

The Funeral Service for David will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, March 30, 2026, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Rev. Elias Ballantyne officiating.
