It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Friend on Friday, March 20, 2026.

Dorothy was 94 years of age and passed away at Wheatland Lodge in Leask SK.

She was born in the Holy Family Hospital to Albert and Frances Couldwell on July 27,1931 and taken home to a little log house in the Briarlea, SK, district. Dorothy was the second child of nine children and took her schooling in the Briarlea school district #3103. Dorothy moved to Prince Albert, in 1947 where she attended P.A.C.I. and then Business College. She got her first job at Mid- West Hatcheries and then moved to Prince Albert Lumber, where she met her future husband, Norman Revitt. They were married in 1951 and began to raise their family: Noreen (John) Hareuther and their children, Jennifer (Dennis) Carpenter their child, Olivia; Christopher (Tanya) and their children, Holden, Willow and Cole; Bruce and his children, April Revitt and her daughter Chloe, Adam (Stephanie) Revitt, and Jason (Megan) Revitt; Glen (Tammy) Revitt, David Revitt, Diane (Louie) Bastos and their children Amy (Zac) Smith, Reid and Mallory, Wendy (Daryl) Hurt and their children, Eric and Conrad.  Dorothy is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Joseph, Robert and Gordon Couldwell, Frances Horvath and Betty Francis.

Dorothy loved to be kept busy and was very active sewing, baking and raising their family. When she and Norman bought the acreage, she grew a big garden and enjoyed tending to the animals they had. When Norman retired, they continued with work on the acreage and added old time pattern dancing to their activities and schedule, which they enjoyed. Dorothy was the family’s genealogist. She did lots of knitting and crocheting for her family. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Norman; and a son, Dale Spencer Revitt; her parents, Albert and Frances (Roberts) Couldwell; her in-laws, Elsie and Priestley Revitt; daughter in-law, Corinne Revitt, and brother, Herbert Couldwell. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, March 30, 2026, at St. David’s Anglican Church, 500 24^th Street East, Prince Albert, SK.  Interment will follow in South Hill Cemetery.
