Prince Albert police surround house in Midtown neighbourhood

A residential area of Prince Albert’s midtown neighbourhood was the scene of a heavy police presence on Saturday.

Shorty before 5:30p.m., police advised the public of their operation in the 500 block of 13th Street East. And then before 9p.m. they confirmed the operation had concluded.

No other details were provided but police indicated further information will be coming.

Officers were overheard by neighours, calling out multiple names over a megaphone. Neighbours also told paNOW there have been a number of complaints made about the house due to constant foot traffic and garbage in the yard.

Traffic restrictions were in place for roughly four and a half hours.
