Merle Ann Johnston (Sheldon) died March 14^th, 2026, from Pancreatic Cancer.  Merle was a woman who knew exactly what she wanted in life.  She loved her family, job, church, and friends.  She was married to Harvey Johnston for 42 years before his passing at 67.  At the age of 69, Merle will be with Harvey again.

Merle is survived by her children; Julie (Cal) Reid and their children:  Amanda (Joe) Moser, Lucas and Dexter;  Jeffrey (Tania) Johnston and their children: Jocelyn, Joanna, and Jade.  Jamilynn (Craig) Jezowski and their children:  Sorsha and Warwick; her siblings, Bernice (Lyle) Wudrick, Janet (Dan) Carrier; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special aunt in California, Irene Shapero.

She is predeceased by her spouse, Harvey; brother, Colin; parents, Muriel and Bob.

Merle’s children would like to thank the support of Rose Garden Hospice, Rev. Matthew and Jenny Hoskin, Bishop Richard Reed, and the generosity of countless friends.  Our hearts were filled with the love of many calls, texts, visits, letters, cards, prayers and gifts.  We felt love returned to us that our mom had provided others over her life.  Please accept our deepest thanks.
