Eric Marshall Ballantyne was born on September 4, 1966, in Flin Flon, MB, and passed away on March 12, 2026, in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 59 years. 

Eric is survived by his loving family, the mother of his children, Gail Morin; his children, Ashley (Matthew) Linklater, Leeanne Ballantyne, Hailey, Royce (Hailey), Janell (Harris), Eric Jr., Isreal, Sonny Ballantyne; his siblings, Jack, Jackie, Theodore Ballantyne, Kathleen (Kelvin) McCallum; his uncles, Bernard Peterson, Moise Ballantyne; his grandchildren, Ivan Jr., Ashton, Josephine, Thomasina, Trisha, Lareisha, Livaya, Lavina, Emery, Alaiya, Heidi, Braxton, Brody, Aleriah, Avanna, Aleigh, Drey, Paris, Ellie, Alyssa; his numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and cousins from surrounding communities. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Jonas & Margaret Ballantyne; his children, Heather Lynn Margaret Morin, Heather Lynn Two Feathers Ballantyne, Gage Morin; his brothers, Franklin, Donald, Leslie, Edmund Ballantyne; his aunties & uncles, Angus (Angelique) Merasty, Emil (Elsie) Merasty, Isaac Merasty, Lena Merasty, Stan (Liz) Merasty, Edward, Jean Marie, Harry Ballantyne, Adele (Paul) McCallum, Margaret Ross. 

The Prayer Service for Eric will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating. The Wake Services will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026; and continued Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the Multipurpose Building, in Sandy Bay, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the Multipurpose Building, in Sandy Bay, SK, with Fr. Josi Chinthamalla, MSFS officiating.
