Lucia Moise was born on October 7, 1952, in Tate Island, SK, and passed away on March 8, 2026, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 73 years.

Lucia is survived by her loving family, her brother, Ronnie Moise; her siblings, Lizette, Johnny, Flora Jane, Gordon, Joseph (Airport); her special friend, John Bighetty; her grandchildren, Calvin, Coolin, Kennen, Korin, Cierena; Rivers and Issac James; her chapans, Deyia Hart, Dantea, Zon, Kaylinn, Zaire; her adopted son, Daniel Moise (Claire), Marcus, Grace, Dan Jr., Brayden; her friends/cousins, Patsy McCallum, Kenneth Ballantyne, Anne Moise, Ada James; her numerous nieces, nephews and friends from Fond Du Lac,  Lac Brotchet, Brotchet, Black Lake, Wollaston Lake, Southend, Sandy Bay, Prince Albert, Winnipeg, La Loche, Tadoule Lake.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Elise & Joseph Moise; her parents, John & Caroline Bird, Catherine & Solomon Moise; her only daughter, Caroline Moise (infant child); her siblings, Charlie Moise, Raymond Bird, Peter Bird, Alphonse Denechezhe, Lucia Moise Sr., Emily Morin, John Thomas and Josephine (Rachel) Mercredi, Victoria Cook; her in-laws, Larry Morin, Henry Bird, Louie Mercredi, Alphonse Denecheze, Noah Cook; and extended family, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The Wake & Final Farewell for Lucia will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 14, 2026, to Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the PAGC Cultural Building, 1151 9 Ave West, in Prince Albert, SK, with Moses Bird officiating.
