Morley Kaminski
October 20, 1944 ~ March 9, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father and grandfather, Morley Melfred Kaminski.

He was predeceased by his father, mother, sister and brother. He was kind and generous and loved his wife of 61 years, Linda Kaminski; his son, Kelly Kaminski; and daughter, Koreena (Scott) Stovall; and his six grandchildren, Dailen, Jordan, Catherine, Andrew Kaminski; MaKenna and Liam Stovall very much.

Morley was born in Southey, Saskatchewan, where he went to school and later in Regina. His earlier years were at the provincial correctional centre, then at Wadena, SK, in the town police force. From there he joined the Brandon City Police and after retiring he continued his public service by working at Correctional Services in Prince Albert, SK.

If you didn’t find Morley farming, tending 16,000 chickens, or slopping around fixing something while greased up and wearing sweaty clothes, you would likely find him telling jokes on the pontoon boat at the lake or camping with his grandchildren.

Morley had a charismatic charm and a gift for making friendships wait people he had just met.  He was a quiet, humble man that will be dearly missed.

Morley lost his battle with diabetes and related issues from the diabetes. We thank the medical staff that tended to Morley in the more advanced stages of his illness We are deeply grateful to the teams at St. Paul’s Hospital, Victoria Hospital, and Home Care staff for their compassion and support.

The family sincerely thanks everyone for their love, support, prayers and presence as we remember and celebrate Morley’s life. Morley’s Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Lake Park Baptist Church near Birch Hills, SK.
