We, the family of Jerome Mrazek, are heartbroken to announce his passing on February 11, 2026.
Jerome was a patient, kind, and talented man. He will be missed by many.
Jerome was born and raised in Prince Albert, SK. As a child, Jerome was very athletic and played many sports, soon realizing that goal tending was his passion. Jerome followed this passion and went on to play both college and professional hockey in the United States for many years.
In 1997 Jerome moved back to Prince Albert, SK, where he met Dawn two years later and became a part of her large and loving family. Jerome and Dawn spent many happy years together, sharing their love of food, family, and nature. They especially valued their time together at Emma Lake, SK, camping, canoeing and enjoying the beauty surrounding them.
Later in his life Jerome discovered another passion, art. He was a very talented artist who loved to sketch and experiment with different colors and textures. You never knew what he would create next! Jerome had many friends within the art community and always looked forward to the Monday 101 Art Group.
Although Jerome was a man with many talents and hobbies, his greatest joy in life were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He cherished every moment he spent with them.
Jerome was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Molly Mrazek; brother, Norbert Mrazek; sister, Annette Mrazek; brother-in-law, Wilf Gervais; and brother-in-law, Wayne Van Den Bruel.
Surviving are his sisters, Bernadette Collins (Merv) and Fran Gervais; brother, Mark Mrazek; sister-in-law, Margaret Mrazek; nephews, Kevin Collins (Paula) and Dean Collins (Lisa); nieces, Monique Mrazek (Joab Noda) and Shannon Feser (lan); and great-nieces Larissa and Olivia Feser, Aidan and Saige Collins, and Sophia Mrazek.
