BEVERLEY ANN ROOTMAN (nee HAUGEN)

July 29, 1937 – February 19, 2026

Beverley Ann Rootman (nee Haugen), affectionately known as “Auntie Bevie” to her many family members, friends and caregivers, passed peacefully at the age of 88 at Parkland Integrated Health Centre, Long Term Care, Shellbrook, SK on February 19, 2026, with family by her side. Auntie Bevie is now reunited in heaven with her beloved Momma, Daddy and siblings. Dementia robbed Bevie of much in the last few years, but we take comfort in knowing she was well cared for at Mak Lodge and Aspen Avenue in Long Term Care, Shellbrook and are grateful to her caregivers. Heaven has gained a sweet angel and will be lively entertained with Bevie’s songs and stories. We love and will miss you Auntie Bevie.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date and she will be laid to rest with her loving sister Margaret and her dear Momma Svea.

In lieu of tributes, donations may be made in memory of Beverley to the Kin Enterprises (300 15th Ave East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 2N7) or Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan (301 – 2550 12th Ave, Regina, SK S4P 3X1).
