Randy Lee Primeau, 63, of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, at the Herb Bassett Care Home. Randy was born on July 21, 1962, to loving parents, Betty and René Primeau.
He is lovingly remembered by his siblings: Cheryl (husband Albert), Rocky (wife Shelly), Smoky, Raymond (wife Jenny), Chris, Larry (wife Verena), as well as his many special aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Randy was predeceased by his beloved grandparents, Grandpa and Grandma Tatarliov, and his parents, Betty and René Primeau.
Randy was a wonderful son, brother, and uncle. Despite his physical challenges, he was always giggling and smiling—especially whenever he saw his special sissy, Cheryl. His energy could light up a room. Grandpa Tatarliov famously gave Randy the nickname “Buckshot,” and it couldn’t have suited him better. Even without words, Randy made it very clear that he liked that nickname — his smile said it all.
Randy loved clapping his hands to his favorite band, AC/DC, and going for walks with his sister, Cheryl. He brought joy to everyone who knew him and had a special way of making people smile right back. He will be dearly missed.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at the Herb Bassett Care Home for their compassionate care and support of Randy throughout the years.
Randy’s gentle spirit, infectious smile, and loving heart will forever live on in the memories of those who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply loved and never forgotten.
