Beverly Caroline (neé Larson) Glass—known and loved by many as Bev—went home peacefully to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, surrounded by those who loved her.
Born on April 6, 1946, in Brockington, Saskatchewan, Bev was the sixth of nine children born to Helge and Gertrude Larson. She came to faith at a young age, and her relationship with Jesus shaped every part of her life. Her faith was not just something she believed, but something she lived—through kindness, service, and a deep love for others.
On December 20, 1969, Bev married the love of her life, Lloyd Glass. Together they raised their children, Cristal and Lee, and built a home that was always open—a place of welcome, safety, laughter, and prayer.
Throughout her life, Bev worked both inside and outside the home. She supported her family through farming alongside Lloyd, worked in health care and corrections, and dedicated herself to caring for others in every role she held.
Bev had a special heart for children, young people, and those with disabilities, and she gave herself generously to anyone who needed care, encouragement, or hope.
Bev will be remembered for her bright smile, her servant’s heart, her unwavering faith, and the way she made people feel seen, valued, and loved.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Lloyd; her children, Cristal (Shawn) Glass-Painchaud and Lee (Melanie) Gear-Glass; her beloved grandson, Jade Gobeil; step-grandchildren, Brayden, Taylor, and Ashley Painchaud; her siblings, Eskil Larson, Dennis Larson, and Gail Graham; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Bev was predeceased by her parents, Helge and Gertrude Larson, and several beloved siblings and family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Prince Albert Baptist Church in summer 2026. Details will be shared at a later date.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
