Kathleen Lillian McLaren

Kathleen Lillian McLaren passed away on January 14, 2026, in Prince Albert, surrounded by love. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Kathleen was known for her strength, generosity, sense of humor, and unwavering faith in God. She faced life with resilience and grace, and her laughter could brighten even the hardest days. Nothing brought her more joy than her two beloved grandchildren, Carter and Hayley, who were the pride and light of her life. Kathleen also loved nature, finding peace and happiness in the outdoors and in the beauty of God’s creation.

She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, and grandmother, devoted wholeheartedly to her family. Kathleen is survived by her husband, William; her sons, Ian and Sean; her grandchildren, Carter and Hayley; her brother, Mark of Saskatoon; her sister, Amy of Saskatoon; and her brother-in-law, Fred Hasller.

Kathleen was predeceased by her brother, Norman (Adeline) of Spruce Grove; her sisters, Thelma Hasller of Kingsville, Ontario, and Lila (Bruce) Acheson of Ardrossan, Alberta; her brothers-in-law, Peter Bueckert, Lambert Depeel, and Ralph Depeel; her sisters-in-law, Frances Depeel and Audrey Depeel; Sister Margaret; and her parents, Lambert and Bernice.

Kathleen’s legacy is one of love, kindness, faith, and unwavering strength. Her memory will live on through the many lives she touched, the laughter she shared, and the deep love she gave so freely.

In accordance with her wishes, no formal service will be held. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date to be determined.
