It is with great sadness that the family of Yvonne Adeline Mercredi announce her passing in Yellowknife, NT, on December 31, 2025. Wake will be set at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026, and will conclude at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 18, 2026. A Feast and Cellebration of Life will follow from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. All services will be held at the PAGC Cultural Centre, 1511 9^th Ave W, Prince Albert, SK.

Yvonne most recently worked in Montreal Lake as the Student Support Coordinator. She was an educator for 26 years, primarily in Stanley Mission. She also worked in Dillon, SK, Pasqua, SK, Cowessess SK, Cadotte Lake, AB, and has worked with multiple tribal councils in her career.

The family would like to thank everyone for their support, prayers, donations, and outpouring love that we received during this difficult time. Our mother and matriarch was loved by many. Thank you for your patience. Please join us in honouring our matriarch.
