Prince Albert theatre group raises money for SPCA
A story about a dog that assists random strangers will act as a fundraiser this week for the Prince Albert SPCA.
Vestor the Rescue Dog represents the first play done by Chokecherry Productions, and runs Thursday and Friday nights at the John M. Cuelenaere public library.
Commenting on the decision to support this cause. Director Alderic Georget said they thought it would make a great partnership.
“It’s very important because there’s so many street cats and street dogs in need of being adopted. And what’s nice about this play is that it kind of gets that conversation going better and in a fun way,” he said.
