It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Gerald Jacob Joseph “aka Baloose” Naytowhow Jr, late of Saskatoon, SK formerly of Sturgeon Lake, SK on November 21^st, 2025, at the age of 39 years. Gerald was born on January 31^st, 1986 to Gerald and Sylvia Naytowhow in Prince Albert, SK. Gerald will be lovingly remembered by his parents Gerald (Sylvia) Naytowhow; his sister Karen Badger (Wesley Rabbitskin); his brothers Mason Naytowhow & Tyler Almightyvoice; his special friend Nessa Powder; his aunties & uncles David Badger, Howard Badger, Alex Badager, Sidney Naytowhow, & Charlene Badger; his nieces Trinity, Shauntay, Charlie, & Unique; & his nosims Brielle & Brynley. Gerald was predeceased by Henry (Geraldine) Badger; his grandparents John (Annie) Naytowhow, & Leo (Josephine) Badger; his uncles Andrew Naytowhow, Simon Naytowhow, James Naytowhow, Lloyd Johnson, Lazarus Naytowhow, Eli Naytowhow, Jacob Badger, Glen Badger, & Fred Badger; his aunties Elizabeth Frenchman, Hilda Naytowhow, Pauline Badger, Sophie Naytowhow, & Nancy Naytowhow. A Wake Service will be commencing Monday, November 24^th, 2025, at 5 PM at Sturgeon Lake Community Centre, Sturgeon Lake First Nation, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 25^th, 2025, at 11AM at Sturgeon Lake Community Centre, Sturgeon Lake First Nation, SK. The Officiants will be the Community Elders. The Honourary Pallbearers are all those who knew and loved Gerald JR. The Pallbearers will be Luck Dyck, Bob Naytowhow, Curtis Badger, Kevin Badger, John Naytowhow, Kyle Kasheap, & Barry Naytowhow. The Interment will take place at the East End Cemetery in Sturgeon Lake First Nation, SK.
