Lucy Myrtle Christine Wiegers was born August 5,1926 and went home on Friday, November 21, 2025.

Lucy was born in Humboldt and grew up on a farm near Muenster with four sisters and three brothers. She was a very hard worker and learned to be resilient at a very young age. She met and married Theodore Wiegers on July 15, 1947. Together, they lived on the Wiegers homestead where they raised 5 children until they moved to Humboldt in 1963. Later they moved to Prince Albert where she resided until October 2025 at which time she moved to Birch View Nursing Home. She loved to visit, dance and play cards. She had an amazing zest for life, never losing her sense of humor. Her memory will live on through her family and friends.

Lucy is survived by her children: Bernard (Mary) Wiegers, Shirley (Don) Njaa, John (Dian) Wiegers and Vanessa Wiegers; thirteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; special friend, Hazel Rhodes.

Predeceased By Parents: John  (Lillian nee Cawley) Steil, Mother & Father In Law: Bernard (Josephine nee Lischwe) Wiegers; Husband Theodore Wiegers; Son Alvin; Infant Daughter; Son Erwin; Grandson Michael; Daughter In-law Linda; four Sisters: Helen (Leo) Pilla, Elizabeth (Norbert) Wiegers, Ruth (Vincent) Wiegers, Agnes (Henry) Wiegers; Three Brothers: Stanley (Joyce) Steil, August Steil & Johnny Steil; Numerous Brother In-Laws & Sister In-Laws.

A public visitation will be held at 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Beau “Lac” Funeral Home. 300b – 300 Marquis Road West, Prince Albert, SK.  Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1401 4th Avenue West, Prince Albert.
