Jim Cook
1957 ~ 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of James (Jim) Edward Raymond Cook, who left us peacefully, surrounded by family on October 29th, 2025, in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan at the age of 68 years.
Jim was born on March 13th, 1957, in Grand Prairie, Alberta. After a long and storied career with the RCMP, Jim carried with him an unshakable sense of duty, integrity, and kindness that touched everyone who knew him.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Donna; his children, Glenn (Jessica), Rayne, Riley (Jess); his grand-children, Kristyn, Kane, Andrew, Slater, Stella; his beloved sisters, Kelly, Colleen, Ann Judy; his mother-in-law, Anne; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Jim was predeceased by many friends and family members, but most profoundly by his son Zach, whom he missed dearly.
Jim loved his family above all else—his wife, his kids, and especially his grandkids who brought him endless joy.
The Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at St. Joseph Parish, in Prince Albert, SK, with Fr. Jim Kaptein officiating.
