Calgary Stampeders defensive coach DeVone Claybrooks out of hospital
Calgary Stampeders defensive co-ordinator DeVone Claybrooks has been released from hospital after more than a week’s absence from the team.
Claybrooks was undergoing some tests, according to Stampeders head coach Dave Dickenson, who said Wednesday that Claybrooks “is out of the hospital.”
Claybrooks wasn’t on the sidelines for Calgary’s 39-26 win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Saturday.
The 40-year-old is in his third season as Calgary’s defensive co-ordinator and seventh on the team’s coaching staff.
