In Loving Memory of Gloria Mahussier
September 14, 1953 – September 5, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gloria Mahussier, who passed peacefully on September 5, 2025, in Prince Albert, SK, just days before her 72nd birthday.
Born on September 14, 1953, in Holland, MB. Gloria lived her life to the fullest. She was full of adventure, kindness and unwavering strength. She touched the lives of so many with her generous spirit, compassion for others, and her love for her family.
Gloria will be remembered for her compassion, her laughter, her love of cooking, and the way she made everyone feel welcome and loved. Her influence reached far beyond her home, extending into numerous community, provincial and national committees where she tirelessly advocated for a world where inclusion is the norm not the exception. Whether through her advocacy, her warmth, or her unwavering belief in the dignity of every person, Gloria helped create lasting change. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew her and in the more inclusive world she worked so passionately to build.
Gloria is survived by her loving husband, Mike Mahussier; her son, Travis Mahussier; her daughter, Marcia Vogt (Rich), and granddaughter, Finley; her mother, Mary Malo; and her brothers; Blaine Malo (Patsy), Blake Malo, and Corey Malo. She was predeceased by her father, René Malo.
A Celebration of Gloria’s life will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 260 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK. A reception will follow in the church hall downstairs.
