Traffic enforcement targets P.A drivers on second day
Aug 21, 2025 | 10:57 AM
Police from multiple law enforcement agencies are in Prince Albert today as part of an annual traffic enforcement blitz.
Yesterday, drivers on Highway 2 north heading home from lake country were targeted. Today, police and highway patrol officers pulled over traffic heading eastbound on 15 Street East near Ben’s Auto Glass.
The focus of the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) is impaired driving, distracted driving, seat-belt use, speeding, unlicensed driving, vehicle registration checks and vehicle equipment regulation.
Prince Albert Police say statistics from the blitz will be available next week.
