He was predeceased by his parents, Jonas & Margaret Ballantyne; his brothers, Franklin, Donald, Leslie; his children, Bridgette Morin, Neveah Ballantyne, Kiefer Morin; his grandparents, Isabelle & Thomas Ballantyne, Charlotte (Herbert) & David Merasty; his aunties & uncles, Angus & Angelique Merasty, Emil & Elsie Merasty, Stan & Liz Merasty, Lena Merasty, Isaac Merasty, Adele & Paul McCallum, Margaret Ross, Sam Ballantyne, Harry Ballantyne, Edward Ballantyne; his adopted parent, Robert Morin; his nieces & nephews, Heather Ballantyne, Heather Lynn Two Feathers Ballantyne, Gage Morin.

The Prayer Service for Edmund will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating. The Wake Services will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, and Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Multipurpose Building, in Sandy Bay, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Multipurpose Building, in Sandy Bay, SK, with Fr. Josi Chinthamalla, MSFS, officiating.
