Gordon Roger Simpson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gordon Roger Simpson on Sunday August 17th, 2025. Gordon was born in Edmonton, Alberta on November 24th, 1951. Gord grew up in Weyburn, Sk. Gord and his family moved to Prince Albert in 1987 then to the Emma Lake area in 1992. Gord worked as Truck Driver for most of his life a locksmith and briefly as a Conservation Officer. Gord retired from trucking in 2009.
Gord is survived by his wife Lois, son Dallas, daughter Leah (Kent Hodgson) their children Jace and Brielle Hodgson, daughter Deanna and family from a previous marriage, as well as auntie Marg Power, as well as numerous cousins, and friends.
Gord was predeceased by his parents Art and Helen Simpson, sister Maureen Simpson, Nephew Lance Davis and Neice Catherine Davis.
In lieu of other tributes, the family requests donations be made to the Rose Garden Hospice in his memory.

A Celebration of life will take place on Sunday August 24th, 2025, at Sunnyside Bar at 1:00pm. 701 Southshore Dr, Emma Lake.
