It is with profound sadness that the family of Susan Jane Stevenson (nèe Burt) announce her passing at the age of 70. Susan was born on May 1, 1955 in London, England and passed on August 10, 2025 in Saskatoon, SK.

She is survived by her daughters, Jillian Stevenson, and Lauren (Ryan) Grieve; granddaughters, Harlyn, Kaia and Nora; sisters, Penny (Gary) Zelensky, and Jane (Jim) Brown; brother, Ian Burt (Betty Ann Adam); aunt, Jean Henville; along with many nieces and nephews, her cousins in England, and her many cherished friends.

Susan is predeceased by her parents, John and Pamela Burt; grandparents, William and Vera Burt, and Robert and Evelyn Henville; uncle Bill and aunt Mary Burt; uncle Jonah and aunt Sheila Jones; and uncle Peter Henville.

Susan was gregarious with a great sense of humour. She was an avid skier in her younger days and loved to travel. She was a tireless volunteer and in 2022 was made a lifetime member of the Saskatoon Kinettes. She enjoyed the farmers market where she worked for various vendors and was always ready to help friends and family in their gardens. She loved her regular visits with former RUH co-workers and was a proud grandmother; always delighted to show off pictures and videos of the little ones.

A celebration of Susan’s life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home (210 Wess Road, Saskatoon). Arrangements entrusted to Hillcrest Funeral Home.
