PA Police arrest man following shooting in East Flat
One man is in hospital with gunshot wounds and another is in jail following a shooting in the East Flat yesterday.
Police responded to a call in the 400 block of 13th Street E at 12:20 p.m. yesterday where they learned a 48-year-old man had been shot. He was taken to hospital by Parkland Ambulance but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The suspect had fled the scene beforehand but officers found him shortly afterwards in the 100 block of 14th Street East. A 28-year-old was arrested without incident and has been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon.
During their search, police found an improvised gun and multiple rounds of ammunition, which have all been seized.
