Robin Merasty
1972 ~ 2025

Robin Oliver Merasty was born on August 8, 1972, in Flin Flon, MB, and passed away on August 1, 2025, in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 52 years.

Robin is lovingly remembered by his children, Alyssa, (George), Keagan, Kanyssa (Carolyn), Janey, Robyn; his grandchildren, who loved their mosom very much; Georgie Angus Luke, Geo Markel, Shayn Jace, Maya Jane, Cayson Kai, and Nayton Kage. He will be deeply missed by his adopted mother, Rose Dorion; his sisters, Stella (Jonah) Merasty, Deborah A. Charles, Carol Merasty, Alvina Merasty, Angie Merasty, Vivian (Fabian) Jobb, Geraldine Merasty, and Cara-Faye Merasty, and by his brothers, Melvin Merasty, Ted Merasty, Stanley (Jeroline) Merasty and Willis McCallum. He is also survived by his in-laws, Roderick (Cindy Lou) Morin, Ricky Morin, Doug (Sonya) Morin, and Karen Michel. His aunties, Maggie Halcrow, Clara Linklater, Anne Merasty, and Jean Merasty. His uncles, Roy Ballantyne, Bobby McCallum, and Robin will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Respectfully Robin was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Jane (nee Morin) Merasty, and their daughter, Shanyssa (Doodles); he was also preceded in death by his parents, Jane (nee McCallum) and Napoleon Merasty, his mother and father-in-law, Alex “Doc” and Theresa Morin, and his in-laws, Angeline Custer, Alvin Morin, Ronald Morin; and numerous aunt’s and uncle’s.

The Prayer Service for Robin will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Deacon Lynn officiating. The Wake Service will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the residence of Robin Merasty, in Pelican Narrows, SK. The Wake & Church Service will be held at 10:00 p.m., on August 7, 2025, at the Pelican Band Hall, in Pelican Narrows, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, August 8, 2025, at St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, in Pelican Narrows, SK, with Father Josi Chinthamalla, MSFS officiating.
