With heavy hearts, the family of Linda Cooke (Folk) announce her passing on July 18, 2025 at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, after a brief battle with cancer, at the age of 74.
Linda was born in Macklin, Sk, into a large family with six children.. There was always plenty of excitement, laughter, and music in our house.
Linda was undeniably Elvis’s #1 fan. And she had acquired many pieces of memorabilia to show.
In 1960, the Folk family moved to Prince Albert, where life really began.
Linda had two sons, Jason Cooke and Derek Cooke. Over the years the boys moved to Lloydminster. Eventually, Linda chose to move there to be close to them. She discovered that she really loved her life there and made some good friends.
Linda is survived by: her son Derek (Charlene Pearson), and granddaughters Nicole & Chevess. and Beloved “grand-dog” THOR
siblings: Eileen (Bud) Wagar, Doug (Cheryl) Folk, Sheila (Ray) Durand, Josie (Bill) Peet, Kathy (Ernie) Heit,
special nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Linda was predeceased by: her son Jason Cooke, John Cooke (former husband), parents: Mike & Vera Folk
brothers in law: Bud Wagar, Ernie Heit
At Linda’s request there is no funeral.
