He grew up in Prince Albert where he met his wife, Audrey Moxness, and was married on, October 23, 1954. They had 4 children, Nancy, Larry, Linda and Sandra. Dad was a sports enthusiast, he coached Women’s Fastball, Hockey and Curling. He also was natural Athlete and excellent in all sports.
He was an avid curler and curled in many Bonpiels. He was also inducted into The Prince Albert Sports Hall of Fame as a Coach and Teambuilder. In his later years he took up bowling, and to no surprise, he was great at that. His favorite hobby was building the most unique bird houses, one resembling Grey Owls Cabin.
Dad retired from Canadian National Railway and soon after that, Dad and Mom drove to the East coast which they absolutely loved. They also made many trips to Edmonton and Lake Cowichen to see their Children and Grandchildren. Dad loved being at his cabin in Waskesiu and enjoyed his fishing adventures.
