It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Clayton Franc, a beloved husband, son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend. Clayton’s brave and courageous 8-year battle ended on Sunday, June 15, 2025.
Born on March 7, 1982, Clayton grew up on the family farm north of Prince Albert, with his parents Gerald and Carolynn, and brothers Matthew and Blair. Clayton was the oldest child among his brothers and countless cousins with whom he created many lasting memories. They had countless adventures together, memories which are still shared fondly today.
When Clayton met Janelle, they had an instant and unwavering love for each other which they cherished through their 17 years of marriage. With the ups and down of life they would always insist that the highs outshined the lows.
Clayton took great pride in any task at hand, and he created countless memories with family and friends throughout his life. He had a love for the farm and country life, raising cattle and sheep. He trained as a carpenter, worked as a hunting guide, operated Cat dozers, graders and other equipment, and enjoyed his time as a youth care worker. His favourite career was with the Ministry of Parks as Area Park Specialist, inspecting leases with a jet boat.
Clayton was an amazing man who loved to make people laugh, and spent a lot of his time outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a gentle soul that had an impact on everyone he met. Any adventure he went on, he always knew someone or would start a conversation and he would make a new friend.
Clayton’s memories will always be cherished by his beloved wife, Janelle Franc; mother, Carolynn Franc; brothers, Blair and Matthew (Carrie); mother-in-law, Shawna Perry, brother-in-law, Ryan (Kelly) Perry, sister-in-law, Jenn (Jesse) Bozarth; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Clayton was predeceased by his father, Gerald Franc and his father-in-law, Neil Perry.
Clayton’s Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Crossroads Pentecostal Assembly, 1510 Olive Diefenbaker Dr, Prince Albert, SK. The Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Paddockwood Cemetery, Paddockwood, SK.
