Eileen Clinton passed away on December 21, 2024 at the age of 80. She was a quiet, understated marvel of a woman with a radiant smile and indomitable attitude. Her motto could well have been: “just get on with it,” as that is what she always did, no matter what challenges life presented, she just did what had to be done without fuss or fanfare. For this, and a million other reasons, she is missed beyond measure by Chris Clinton, with whom she would have celebrated her 60th wedding anniversary this coming August, and by her two loving sons and their wives Stephen (Lily Cheung) and Graeme (Roxane Poulin). She was and will always be adored by her three grandchildren Cole, Emma and Adam.
Eileen will be known to many in Prince Albert from her work as a secretary in the Prince Albert public school system, first at Prince Albert Developmental Centre, then at Queen Mary Public School, and finally at John Diefenbaker Public School until her retirement in 2006.
