She was predeceased by her mother, Marie (née Iroquois) Highway; her father, Adam Highway; her sister, Delphina Highway; her brothers, Horace Highway, Norman Custer; her nieces, Candace Custer, Crystal Night Traveller, Margie Cook-Morin; her nephews, Elmer Jobb, Philip Highway (in infancy), Glen Jobb, Gavin Highway, Phillip Night Traveller; her uncles, Philip Highway, Joe (Palagi) Highway, William Highway, Eli Highway, John Baptist; her aunts, Anne McCallum, Margaret Michel, Rosalie Merasty, Margaret & Joe Morin, Bernadette & Edward Ballantyne.

The Prayer Service for Margaret will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, June 13, 2025, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating. The Visitation will be held at 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Friday, June 13, 2025, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK; continuing on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, and Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the Pelican Narrows Band Hall. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, in Pelican Narrows, SK, with Fr. Josi Chinthamalla, MSFS, officiating.
