Franklin is survived by his loving family, his loving companion, Shelley Morin; his furry cat, Mittens; his parents, Tina and John Wilkinson, Donald John Bear; his siblings, Amanda (Zach), Darrel (Raven), Jay, Louis, Nadine, Farrah, Linda Beatty, Thelma McDonald; his step siblings, Chris, Andrew, Tanya; his son, Theo Bear; his godparents, Vicky and Barney Stepanow; his aunts and uncles, Clara (Ken), Valerie, (Mike), Walter (Kathy), Edward, Bob, Dorothy (Rolly), Erna (Gordon); his special grandchildren, Jamison and Harper; his niece and nephews: Jonah, Ryall, Zander, Danika, Lance, Ava, Amaya, Tahrell, Tionna, Sonny, Tehya, Tatum, Jayrese, Jaelynn, Jayla, Jordyn; his cousins, Raquel, Tyson, Adele, Kim, Joe, Mildred, Hillary, Michelle, Kayla, Dakota Cree, Samuel Johnson.

He was predeceased by his baby girl, Brooke Kalyia Marie McKay; his special nieces, Jayda Shannon Marie McCallum; his grandparents, Paul and Adele McCallum, Alex and Marie Bear, Harriette and Henry McCallum, Thomas and Isabel Ballantyne, Delores & Stephen Gradish; his kokum, Helen Switzer; his uncles, Emile, Darrell McCallum, Bill (Emily), James, John McCallum; his aunts, Margaret McCallum, Stella McDonald, Jane Ray; his father-in-law, Roy Morin; his cousins, Clyde, Dean. For all those who knew and loved Franklin if we miss names, please forgive us, it was not intentional.

The Wake Service for Franklin will be held at 4:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the East Hill Hall, in Prince Albert, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, May 23, 2025, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating.
