Dorothy Podborochynski

Dorothy Podborochynski, beloved wife of Stanley, passed away peacefully in Saskatoon on May 1, 2025, at the age of 78.
Dorothy leaves behind her loving husband Stanley; cherished daughter Nancy (Roger) Korte; treasured grandchildren Sydney and Luke, all of Saskatoon. She is also survived by her brothers Miron (Ruth) Wasutyk and Orest (Margaret) Wasutyk, along with their families; as well as her brother-in-law Mike (Evelyn), all of Prince Albert. She will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces and a nephew.
Born on October 8, 1946, in Hellerndorf, Germany, Dorothy immigrated to Canada and built a fulfilling life in Saskatchewan. She dedicated 30 years of service to the City of Prince Albert, retiring in 2005 when she and Stanley moved to Saskatoon to be closer to family.
Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Annie Wasutyk; her brothers George and Joe; and her in-laws, John and Mary Podborochynski.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Mourning Glory – Acadia McKague’s Funeral Chapel (915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan). Arrangements are in care of Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200.
Dorothy’s warmth, kindness, and love for her family will be remembered always.
