Frank Rudolph Will left this earth on April 26, 2025, surrounded by love.  Frank was born on September 20, 1933, at Middle Lake, Saskatchewan.  His parents Steve and Elizabeth were farmers.  When Frank was 11 his family moved to Weirdale.  He attended Weirdale School, until deciding to farm with his Dad.  Frank loved heavy horses and worked his land with them until it was no longer feasible.  In 1954 he married Amelia Sklar.  They made their home 1.5 miles north of Weirdale, on the family farm.  Frank and Amelia were active in the Weirdale community, curling in the winter and helping out with the annual sports day.  Frank enjoyed playing cards, visiting with friends and family and he loved to dance.  Frank and Amelia were blessed with three daughters, Sherry, Karen and Beverly.  He worked for Sask Wheat Pool for 7 years.  In 1983 he left elevator work to continue more actively farming.  Frank owned a herd of Angus cattle and sold purebred bulls.  His girls married and he became a grandfather to 9 active grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.  Frank kept busy attending all of their activities.  He retired from active farming in 2002.  Amelia passed away in 2010 and Frank’s life changed.  In the fall of 2021, he moved to Points West Retirement Home in Prince Albert.  Then in 2022 he moved to River Breeze, followed by a move in 2024 to Mont St. Joseph Home.  At 91 years of age he passed away, but he never lost his interest in his family or farming.
