Lorna Gunn

Lorna Victoria Gunn was born on October 7, 1937, in Smeaton, SK, and was known for her deep love of family, vibrant personality, and artistic talents. A cherished mother to five sons and seven daughters, Lorna was a woman of incredible warmth, grace, and creativity. She had a passion for reading, crafting, and ceramics, and was a master seamstress whose creations were admired by all. Lorna found joy in spending time at the lake, where she could embrace nature’s beauty.

Though small in stature, Lorna’s personality and love for her family were larger than life. She always imparted importance of honesty and respect, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met.

Lorna’s family and friends will forever remember her as a beacon of love, resilience, and wisdom.

Lorna is survived by her loving family, her children, Donna Allan, John Petty, Christine Delorme, Linda Wolfe, Beverly Gunn, Gordon Gunn, Warren Gunn, Dawn Demerais, Aaron Kyplain; her siblings, Albert Demerais, Louis Demerais, Donnie Demerais, Barbara Flurey.

She was predeceased by her children, Pearl Robins, Martin Petty, Shirley Petty; her parents, Irene & Albert Demerais; her bothers, Charles Demerais, Herbert Demerais, Arthur Demerais, Howard Demerais.

The Funeral Service for Lorna will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Rev. Nora Vedress officiating.
