James “Jim” Edward Cusator
1951 – 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James “Jim” Edward Cusator. Jim was born on November 26, 1951, in Shellbrook, SK to Thelma Luck and Charlie Cusator.
Jim was a 35-year veteran for the RCMP Forensic Identification Unit, earning the Golden Jubilee Medal from her Majesty the Queen.
Jim is lovingly survived by his daughter Amber (Travis) Gallia (nee Cusator) and children Arianna and Benson; his stepsons Scott (Cindy) Romanyshyn and children Eric and Kyra; Kevin (Shelly) Romanyshyn and children Kale and Quinn; Craig (Rebecca) Romanyshyn and children Sam and Leonor; his brother Lorne T Cusator; his sister Betty Ann Cusator; as well as numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
James was predeceased by his common-law partner, Rose M Romanyshyn; his first wife, Amanda L Cusator (nee Feuchuk); his parents, Charles M Cusator and Thelma E Cusator (nee Luck).
It was Jim’s request to have no service held. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Jim to either the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan (200-4545 Parliament Ave, Regina, SK S4W 0G3) or it was also Jim’s wish for others to think about planting a tree in memory of someone special in their life.
