Mike Balon passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025 at the Cudworth Nursing Home at the age of 103. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Kushneryk Funeral Service in Wakaw on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. with the Very Rev. Archpriest Patrick Powalinsky officiating. Interment will follow at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery in Tarnopol, SK. Donations in memory of Mike may be directed to the Cudworth Nursing Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Marc Blondeau of Kushneryk Funeral Service, Wakaw, SK, 306-233-4403.
