Timberjaks looking for upset against Delisle in round one of playoffs
The Prince Albert Timberjaks are ready to rumble this weekend as they get set for the first round of the Prairie Junior Hockey League (PJHL) playoffs.
The Jr. B club is set to face off with the Delisle Chiefs in the opening round, a team that the Jaks haven’t seen much success against this season.
P.A. head coach and general manager Steph Corfmat said that the playoffs are like a brand-new season, and that they’re prepared to take the Chiefs head on.
“We’re feeling pretty good. We’re young and the thing is, we got to play within a system, take the body, and play physical against them. If we try to run-and-gun against them, we’re going to have some long nights.”
