Anita Swystun
1941 ~ 2024

It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anita Swystun on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the age of 83 years. She is survived by her husband, John, of 61 years; her children, Bryan (Candace), Leanne (Dale), Laurie (Ken), and Nicole (Scott); her grandchildren, Delaney, Shay, Bauer, Jayde, Kacey, Meghan, Lochlan, Tate, Emerson, Lincoln; and great-granddaughter, Kate. She is predeceased by her parents, Agatha and Bill Gillingham.

The most important thing to Anita was her family. She loved our Sunday dinners, celebrating her family’s successes and accomplishments; time at the cabin with family and friends, sea-dooing or just reading a book and having a glass of wine on the deck. She loved meeting people and playing bridge. The family want to thank the staff at Mont St. Joseph Special Care Home for the wonderful care she received.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, December 13, 2024, at St. Joseph Parish, located at 260 25 St E in Prince Albert, SK, with Rev. Fr. Jim Kaptein and Father DJ Vu officiating.
