Leonard “Lenny” Ray was born on October 25, 1929, in Duck Lake, North of Sandy Bay, SK, and passed away on December 2, 2024, in Canwood, SK, at the age of 95 years.

Leonard is survived by his loving family, his children, Roland (Karen), Rachel, Jesse, Justin; Judy (Chris) Ratt, Christopher; Robert (Elizabeth), Arlene, Rosina, Cory, Heather; Bruce (Ina), Krista, Nathan, Rico, Rico Jr.; Ronald (Eileen), Raelynn, Genna, Ron Jr., Aaron, Jarrett; Stanley (Lorraine), Skye, Sherilee, Georgina, Shawna, Thelma, Lionel; Ramona, Dustin, Duane, Darren, Kelsea; Joanne, Sharon, Brandon, Lee-Ann; Geraldine, Jason, Leonard Thomas, Allan; Burt (Kathy), April, Bryce, Shane; Henrietta (Allan), Amanda, Brett, Jordan, Shanda, Riahnna; his special family friend, Robert Bobby Bear; his brother-in-law, Eli Bear; his grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Adele Ray (née Bear); his parents, Charlotte Bear, Jesse “Bud” Ray; his grandparents, Chi-Pierre Whitebear, Mary Ann Ballantyne; his brothers, Ernie, Arthur, Louis, Frank; his sisters, Madalene Cadotte, Marie Rose Morin; his grandsons, Tony, Dwayne.

The Prayer Service for Leonard will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating. The Wake Services will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the Ray residence, in Sandy Bay, SK; continued on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the Garry Morin Memorial Hall, in Sandy Bay, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, in Sandy Bay, SK, with Father Heinner Paucar, OMI, officiating.
