Restrictions in place following water main break near downtown

City crews are out in full force trying to fix a water main break near Prince Albert’s downtown.

The break happened in the early hours of Sunday morning on the corner of 15th Street East and Central Avenue.

According to a post on the City of Prince Albert’s Facebook page, crews will be working on repairing the water main with some traffic restrictions in place.

As city crews are also removing snow in the area on Sunday, west bound lanes on 15th Street from Central Avenue to 1st Avenue East will be closed. Meanwhile, the eastbound lanes on 15th Street will be split to accommodate both westbound and eastbound traffic.
