Increased police presence in Sucker River

RCMP have reported that one man was taken into custody and that the investigation is still ongoing.

More information will be provided as it becomes available.

La Ronge RCMP are advising of an increased police presence in the community of Sucker River, about 230 kilometres north of Prince Albert.

Officers are there as part of an ongoing investigation and are asking people to avoid areas where police are present and follow directions given.

More information will be provided as soon as available and an update will be issued in the even of a threat to public safety.
