Labour market needs drive SaskPoly student growth
A three percent growth in the number of students enrolled at the four SaskPolytechnic campuses in Saskatchewan is being driven by a demand for labour.
With a total of 11,849 students, Dr. Larry Rosia, president and CEO, said the school is seeing an all-time record in the student population.
“I’ve been saying for a while now that it is a polytechnic moment, you know, in Saskatchewan, across Canada and even globally,” Rosia said.
“It seems that industry and the economy that we have right now needs our graduates more than ever.”
