Students and staff at Evan Hardy Collegiate have been invited to wear purple when they return to the Saskatoon high school tomorrow in a shortened school day in an attempt to begin healing.
Tomorrow will be the first day that students are back after a 15-year-old girl was set on fire at the school on Thursday afternoon.
Purple was the victim’s favourite colour and the family of the victim had extended the invitation, principal Karen Peterson said in a newsletter to parents on Monday.
