Yvon Gaston Hudon (May 15,1954- Sept 3, 2024). We would like to announce the peaceful passing of our brother Yvon on Sept 3, 2024 at St. Pauls hospital in Saskatoon at the age of 70. Yvon was born in Arborfield, spent his early years in Zenon Park, then moved to Prince Albert where he attended St. Mary high school. Yvon was like a gentle giant, who was the best uncle, brother, and friend. He loved his family, took great pride in his vehicles, and had a passion for music that was enjoyed by all on many occasions. He had a lengthy career with 7-Eleven, working at stores throughout Saskatchewan, and ending his career in Saskatoon. He was able to enjoy a few years of retirement before his illness. Yvon loved life, and lived it to the fullest his own way, and wouldn’t change a thing.
Yvon was pre-deceased by his parents, Edmond and Fernande (nee Moffet) Hudon, his grandparents, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Yvon is survived by his siblings: Lina (Doug) Ritchie, Joël (Wendi) Hudon, Gaëtan Hudon, Micheline (Dennis) Billay, and Gerry Hudon. Also missing their uncle are his nieces and nephews: Adam, Lee (Yuki), Denée (Regan), Danielle (Mike), Breean, Kailey (John), Graeme, Evan (Kailey), Laura (Keenan); Dustin and Mikaela (Dylan) and his great nieces and nephews: Kohen, Emry, Luka, Mira, Taya, Linkin, Rilynn, Allory, Nixon and Axl.
We would like to thank the excellent caregivers who looked after Yvon at the University Hospital and St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon.
At Yvon’s request, there will be no funeral. Interment will be at a later date in a private family gathering at Candle Lake. Condolences may be sent to the family at Cherished Memories Funeral Home, Martensville, Saskatchewan,
Nous t’aimons frère! You will be missed Chicon.
