Joshua Moore
October 11, 1977 – August 17, 2024
Joshua “Josh” Moore was a caring partner, stepfather, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend. It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn his sudden passing on Saturday, August 17, 2024, in Regina, SK, at the age of 46 years.
Josh will be forever remembered for his love of nature, his culinary and musical talents, and for his kind heart. Josh loved watching birds, and he knew all the local visitors by sight and sound. He loved fishing since he was young and when he wasn’t tying flies, he could be found at the Nisbet Trout Pond or at Jan Lake “Maui of the North”, fishing with his love, Kendell. Josh enjoyed cooking and serving his delicious creations to loved ones. He was quite musical and enjoyed playing the piano, acting as a DJ for friends and more recently playing the ukulele. Josh enjoyed being active in nature and could be found walking, cycling, or snowshoeing, depending on the season. He enjoyed traveling and shared in Kendell’s love for Maui. Josh was a thoughtful and caring person who had a lot of love to give and was loved by many.
Josh was predeceased by his parents, Cliff and Gail Moore of Prince Albert. He is survived by his loving spouse, Kendell Waugh; his stepchildren, Hannah (Ethan) and Lucas; and his grandson, Elias “Teddy”, who brought so much joy into his life. Josh is also survived by his brother and sister, Jeff (Carmen) and Megan (Andrew); his four nieces who loved their UJ; as well as numerous friends, relatives, and co-workers, who he meant so much to.
Celebration of Life will be held in the Upper Hall at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, 3337 15th Avenue, Regina, on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Please bring memories and stories to share.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memoriam to a charity of your choice.
