Woman recovering after getting struck by vehicle

A 56-year-old woman is listed in good and stable condition, following a close call Thursday night in Prince Albert’s Crescent Heights area.

Around 9:30 p.m., she was struck by a black pickup near Sixth Ave. East and Branion Drive.

Parkland Ambulance responded to the scene and transported the woman to hospital and from there she was taken by STARS to a Saskatoon hospital.

Both the police service and fire dept. also responded.

While emergency crews were on scene, a section of the busy road was blocked off to traffic.
