Prince Albert missing persons case reaches 44 years

As of this Sunday, forty-four years will have passed since Robert Wiggins was last seen.

The Prince Albert Police Service Historical Crimes and Missing Persons Unit continues to investigate and are renewing calls for the public’s assistance.

Robert’s daughter recently told investigators with the Historical Crimes and Missing Persons Unit, “Despite the many years that have passed since his disappearance, we hope someone will come forward with information that can help solve his case.”

In a statement, the police service extended their thanks to members of the public who have provided information about Robert’s disappearance to this point.

The Prince Albert Police Service wants to remind the public that any information, no matter how small could further the investigation and help bring closure to Robert’s family.

Anyone who may have information concerning Robert Wiggins disappearance or activities on July 28, 1980, is urged to call Prince Albert Police or Crime Stoppers.
