12-year-old girl sexually assaulted on Central Ave

Police are looking for a man who is accused of forcing a 12-year-old girl behind a building on Central Avenue and sexually assaulting her.

Prince Albert Police said the assault happened just after nine o clock pm yesterday evening and that the Mobile Crisis Unit called them for assistance.

The girl was walking in the area of Central Avenue and 15th Street when she was approached by a man and forced behind a building on the south side of 15th Street and assaulted.

The man used an edged weapon to prevent her escape.

After the girl was released, she contacted the Mobile Crisis Unit for support.

The man is described as wearing black shoes, black pants, and black hat and had his face concealed with a black mask.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 306-953-4222 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
