Blandine McKnight

It is with heavy hearts the family of Blandine Marie Madeleine McKnight announce her passing. Blandine passed away peacefully on May 24, 2024.

Blandine was strong, determined, and stubborn (at times), but this is what made her the fighter she was and gave her the ability to accomplish all she did in life. Blandine persevered throughout life, raising 5 children (most of the time by herself). While furthering her education resulting in a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from SunTep.

Blandine was an avid bowler, reader, and a social butterfly who belonged to countless groups throughout her life. She was also a devout Christian who dedicated her life to the Lord.

Blandine was never too busy when it came to her grandchildren. She never missed a birthday, Christmas concert, or any opportunity she had to be a part of their lives.

The McKnight family would like to personally thank past and present employees of Pineview Terrace who genuinely worked with her to make time there dignified. We do know that she was a handful at times, thank you.

Blandine will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Jerry (Agnes), George (Crystal), Samuel (Charmaine), Keith (Cecile); her grandchildren, Jazmyn, Taziana, Jordain, Damian, Kiarra (Ashton), Kalista (Thomas), Kashton, Justina, Jairus, and Joshua; her sisters, Marie, Christine, Bertha and their families; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel McKnight; her daughter, Francine McKnight; her parents, Ernest and Monique Daigneault; her sister, Pauline Daigneault; her brothers, Archie and Edwin Daigneault; her sister, Pauline Daigneault; as well as nieces and nephews.
