Predators steamroll SWAT in Founders Cup play-in, inch closer to first-ever Nationals berth
The Prince Albert Predators are now on the doorstep of a Founders Cup Jr. B National Championship berth following their dominant showing over the Saskatoon SWAT in a play-in match on Friday.
The Preds showed little mercy for their opponents, stomping the SWAT 15-6 at Prince Albert’s Kinsmen Arena.
Matthew Cudmore led the charge for the Blue and Gold, netting five goals and a trio of assists while Brayden Rieger managed a hat-trick and four helpers. Mason Hawkes stood tall between the pipes, tallying 31 saves on 37 shots while tacking on an assist in the blowout win.
